Awards Gala
An Evening to Remember
Unique to DX events, the Awards Gala has always been a favorite of attendees. Saturday evening's event features recognition for coaches, teachers, dancers, academic excellence, and the announcement of the Andrew Lawrence Sportsmanship & Spirit Award. No tickets required.
We kick off the evening with red carpet interviews, photo opps and fun. Each program attending may recognize one dancer for the Distinguished Leader honor. Announcements for All American and Performer of the Year take place during the show. Outstanding Staff will also be recognized. Nominate someone who helps you keep the ship afloat.
National Dance Coach of the Year will be announced. Nominations for both of these high honors accepted. Send an email to nominate.
It is strongly encouraged that attendees wear church type clothing to prom dresses. Men are encouraged to wear shirts with ties. Jackets are optional. This is your chance to dress-up like a prince or princess and shine.
