WHAT IS DX PERFORMER OF THE YEAR?

The DX Performer of the Year competition celebrates individual talent. Dancers are invited to prepare a solo routine, which will be performed live on site.

The solo performed may be a condensed version of a longer routine.

• NEW - Time limit = 2 minutes maximum

WHO WINS?

Winners are selected based on performance.

• The highest scorer for each age group will be recognized and receive an award for their outstanding achievement.

🏅 All winners will be announced live during the Awards Gala on Saturday evening.

HOW TO REGISTER

Ready to be considered for DX Performer of the Year? Here’s how to enter:

1. Coaches select Title-Performer of the Year from the dropdown menu in their DanceBUG account.

   • NOTE: All Americans are automatically entered in Performer of the Year

2. COST: $119 per dancer

3. Upload Head shot

4. Submit Before the Deadline - January 5th, 2026

5. Confirm Your Submission

   • You'll receive a confirmation email once your application is processed.

• Each age will have a winner.

  • Mini - 6 yr. & younger

  • Petite - 7 yr.

  • Petite - 8 yr.

  • Junior - 9 yr.

  • Junior 10 yr.

  • Junior 11 yr.

  • Teen - 12 yr.

  • Teen - 13 yr.

  • Teen - 14 yr.

  • Senior - 15 yr.

  • Senior - 16 yr.

  • Senior - 17 yr.

  • Senior - 18 yr.

  • Adult - High School Graduate
