Performer of the Year
The DX Performer of the Year competition recognizes individual talent. Dancers prepare a routine which will be performed on site. The routine may be a condensed version of a longer routine.
Time limit = one minute and 30 seconds [1:30]

2026 ENTRY FEE
COST: $129 per dancer. Studio/Program coordinators select TITLE - Performer of the Year from the dropdown box on DanceBUG registration. Winners announced at Saturday’s Awards Gala.
2026 PERFORMER OF THE YEAR PRIZE BREAKDOWN
All Candidates receive Performer of the Year medals for participating.
PERFORMER OF THE YEAR CHAMPIONS - A winner will be announced in each age group and will receive a trophy, Rebel Duffel* & scholarship to our 3D Dance Convention next fall.
7+ entries - $100 convention scholarship
2-6 entries - $50 convention scholarship
When there is only one entry in an age category, then the Overall Champion will be announced. No scholarships will be given.
*Limit of one Rebel Duffel per person.
Sunday morning will feature the top 10 SENIOR SOLOS (15-18 yr.) in a DANCE-OFF!

Petite - 7 yr.

Senior - 15 yr.
Senior - 16 yr.
