WHEN DOES REGISTRATION CLOSE?
December 1, 2024 or until SOLD OUT
Who can come?
The trip is open to individual families, studios, teams, and guests. We've even had family reunions register, celebrating together while watching a special dancer perform at the most "Magical Place On Earth." Performers, both male and female, ranging in age from 7 to 25 years are welcome. Won't you join us?
Are there any perks for studio directors?
Yes - Contact DX for details! (763) 792-8989 or registration@dxevents.com
Do I need to register through my studio?
No - All attendees are responsible for registering as an INDEPENDENT on their own. Be sure to list your studio/team name so we block your rooms together!
How do we sign up?
LOGIN and select “INDEPENDENT”. All rooms must have have an unique email. Print off the “HOW TO” for step by step instructions on how to set up your account.
How old does a dancer need to be in order to dance?
Dancers must be seven years old (7) at the time of the show. This is Disney’s policy. You can register him/her before that. Do not choose “dancer” if he/she does not qualify.
What does it cost?
The tour package is based on the number of people in a room. Each room must have it’s own account. All performers will be charged a DANCER FEE. Transportation to Orlando is purchased on your own. You can upgrade your tickets to the 4-Day Premium if you’d like. Refer to the COST page for price breakdown and payment schedule.
WHAT DOES THE DANCER FEE INCLUDE?
Rehearsals, costume, photos and event extras - $135/per dancer
How do I determine the costume size?
Use this size chart and helpful hint document to determine your dancer’s costume size. Keep in mind the tour in October of 2025 so you may need to order a larger size than where he/she is measuring at this time. Ask your studio director for help. Dancers must also supply their own tan jazz shoes.
What time do I need to arrive?
Plan to arrive early afternoon on Wednesday or a day earlier. THE FIRST MANDATORY REHEARSAL IS AT 6:30 PM. If flying in on Wednesday, arrive no later than 1 pm. This will allow you time to transfer from the airport to the resort and have a few minutes to get settled before practice.
When should I plan on departing?
Consider flying out late Sunday evening or staying an additional night and departing on Monday. Do not plan a flight on Saturday as that is tentatively set as our performance day. We won’t know the actual performance time until weeks before the event.
Are there any meals included?
Yes - The tour includes one meal. Additional meals are on your own. DX does not have the option of adding the dining plan to the package.
Can we purchase the Disney Dining Plan on our own?
No - We are unable to offer the dining plan to DX attendees. To add the dining package to our group, our nightly room rate would increase dramatically and everyone would have to do it. We have found by buying the largest meal option and sharing and/or purchasing the kid meals, everyone gets enough food.
What does my tour package actually include?
Five incredible days at Walt Disney World, including: Four nights of lodging at one of the fantastic Disney properties, a 4-day base park ticket (one park per day), a special event that includes a meal, event t-shirt and transportation around the parks.
What is a 1 day per park base ticket mean?
This allows access to one park per day - as many times as you desire. Our package will give you four days total. You can upgrade your ticket to a 4-day Premium ticket for an additional fee.
WHAT IS A 4-DAY PREMIUM TICKET?
This ticket is a 4-day park hopper, water park and sports option. This ticket entitles each holder to four (4) fun visits.

What if there are 5 people in my family?
Disney does not allow more than four people to a room. You will need to book an additional room to accommodate your family OR place a family member in a different room with friends. You can book one room if the fifth person is a child under two (2). Disney has a small number of adjoining/connecting rooms that they reserve for families needing two rooms.
Do I need a package for my two (2) year old?
No - Children two and under do NOT need to purchase an entire package. However, please EMAIL their name and age so we can provide an event shirt for them.
Do studio directors need to book a room?
Yes - make sure you make your own reservation and get into the system to secure a room.
Can I use my timeshare for the DX tour?
No - All DX attendees must be booked through DX as part of our “GROUP”.
How do I get to the hotel?
Guests are responsible for getting to the hotel on their own. We suggest Mears Shuttle, Uber, Lyft or taxi services.
How do you pull the routine together?
Dancers are put into groups by age. DX choreographs the routine with all ages in mind. The routine is simple and repetitive, but very entertaining. The 15-20 minute continuous show features dancers performing multiple times throughout the routine. The routine is choreographed ahead of time and sent out with instructions. All formations and transitions are taught on site during rehearsals.
How much time do we practice?
Everyone (dancers and adults) must attend the MANDATORY first rehearsal on Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM . We will brief the adults while dancers run through the routine as a group and see how well everyone knows the material. From there, we will begin incorporating transitions and formation changes. Additional rehearsals are scheduled throughout the trip and sent out ahead of time so you can plan your days accordingly. Dancers who do not know the routine will be pulled from the show without refunds. It is the dancer's responsibility to come prepared knowing the material. The goal of DX is have Disney be the focus of the trip; not the rehearsals.
When can we make dining reservations?
Dining reservations may be made 180 days before you arrive. You will need your hotel confirmation number. Dining reservations are recommended for special events like Character breakfasts, dining with the Princesses, etc. You make reservations through MY DISNEY EXPERIENCE or by calling 407-939-DINE.
How long has DX been doing this tour?
This will be our 19th tour to Walt Disney World. We've got it down. You can take our itinerary recommendations or create your own one-of-a-kind schedule.
Are chaperones required?
DX requires one (1) chaperone per every 15 dancers. Chaperones must be 19 years or older.
